Collection of Information

We collect and retain the following categories of personal information, which is necessary information for us to comply with regulations governing the insurance industry and the issuance of insurance policies. We also collect personal information from our California-based employees, as required to comply with federal, state and local laws governing employers, and to fulfil our legal obligations as an employer. Access to, Correction of, or Requesting Deletion of Personal Information

If you are a California resident, upon our receipt of a verifiable request from you, you can obtain access to the personal information about you which we have in our files. If you think that any piece of personal information that we have collected from or about you is inaccurate, you may notify us in writing to request that it be corrected. We will investigate your request and make appropriate changes as needed. You may also request deletion of your personal information that is collected and maintained by us, as provided by law.

For non-policy holders, we will verify a consumer’s identity by matching at least two or three consumer-provided data points with data points that we maintain, depending on the sensitivity of the information involved.

Disclosure or Sale of Personal Information

During the past 12 months, we may have disclosed personal information such as unique personal identifiers, physical information, and health/medical information to our affiliated insurance companies, appointed insurance agents, and service providers for business purposes such as to underwrite your policy, process your premium, maintain your policy, administer a claim, market products and services, respond to court orders and legal investigations, or report to consumer reporting agencies.

We do not sell your personal information.

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of a Consumer’s Privacy Rights

You have a right not to receive discriminatory treatment from us for the exercise of any of your privacy rights conferred by The California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”).
